Testing the first manufactured prototype
Our team is working together to test all of the different components of our product and make sure we are choosing the best possible combination of parts.
February 10th is Chinese New Year and represents our "design freeze" for InvenTABLE. After this, we will be able to test the first InvenTABLE version that has all of its final components.
Started working with Kaizen Dynamic
We were determined to find a manufacturing partner that...
- has an in-depth understanding of motors
- has manufactured kids products before and therefore understands kids-safety requirements
- deeply understands our vision
After over a month of meeting with various potential partners, we met with Kaizen Dynamic and knew right away that they checked all of the boxes. They are now our official engineering, product development, and supply chain partner.
Started working with Loket Design
We met Bart Ruijpers, industrial designer, through a friend and fellow Kickstarter founder. You can read more about our work with Bart here:
Growing our team
We knew that we needed to grow our team in order to grow our business.
Marlu is an Integrated Product Design Masters student at Penn and our Product Design Intern.
Collin is a master maker (check out these electric roller blades he designed and built!) and our VP of Engineering.
Will is an educational game designer, product manager, Japanese speaker, and our Education Product Manager.
The last day of our Kickstarter Campaign!
Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would actually pass $1M raised on Kickstarter. We were so blown away by the response from our backers and excited to get started. Here's our team celebrating over dinner in Philly!
